We are learning about narratives, the features and the purpose as well as the audience.
We decided to try a collaborative narrative using etherpad. Here is our first attempt:

We weren't totally satisfied with that attempt (even though we raced home so we could finish it online at home) so we tried another one.



My Reflection:
Our teacher told us we could work together to create a fairy tale. We used etherpad to do this. Our teacher assigned the roles and wrote a description of them on the etherpad. Our group wrote a story first and we got very excited about it. We even went home and finished it from our homes. But we weren't absolutely happy with it, so we wrote another one. The teacher assigned the roles and shared them with us on the etherpad.
I really enjoyed the whole experience. I like working this way so I can get to see others' ideas, get more ideas of own. and learn more. I learnt some new writing skills as well as to listen to others, and how to resolve our issues.
I like writing stories this way as you don't know where the story is going to end up. The story develops and twists and turns and ours turned out funny.
I would like to do more work like this, maybe write a different story that we could create from our homes.

An excellent fractured fairytale, the elements of a narrative are very clear and you used some good words to describe the characters and their actions. I like how you incorporated humour into you writing. You did a great job writing a moral into your story next time work on making it a bit clearer.
